Planning the Overseas Wedding Photoshoot
Jossi, the bride, wanted to have her pre-wedding photos taken overseas. She was looking a unique destination and one that fits within her budget. She later chose to go Lijiang, after learning how beautiful it is from her friends. Jossi was super resourceful, she bought her wedding gown online and did all makeup and hairstyling herself. Jason took care of all other parts of the trip; schedules, air-tickets and accommodations. The couple are a perfect team!
They shared that “Lijiang has lots of great locations for shooting.” The couple chose to take photos at the Old Town Village (老镇), Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (玉龙雪山), La Shi-Hai (拉市海), and the nearby flower fields.
The Old Town of Lijiang
The Old Town of Lijiang is a beautiful heritage town, in China’s south west province of Yunnan. It is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has that perfect backdrop for couples seeking that vintage Chinese culture feel in there pre-wedding photos.
Jade Dragon (Yulong) Snow Mountain
Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, also know as 玉龙雪山, is mountain range near the city of Lijiang. The majestic mountain with its snow-capped peaks is bound to leave a unforgettable experience for any couple. This mountain has left the trio a deep impression. It was the first time all three of them ascended the mountain. It was not an easy hike but the view and photos they took were well worth the effort.
