It is common for brides to have bridezilla moments from all the stress and frustration of wedding planning. But for this Singaporean couple, the bride never had to go through any of that. The reason? The groom, Kelvin, wanted Huishi to be the happiest and most stress-free bride on the big day. So, he took full charge of the entire wedding planning!

The colour palette of this garden wedding was pastel pink, white and blue, all the more making the wedding ceremony a princess and fairytale-like one in addition to the romantic garden wedding setting.
Huishi and Kelvin got hitched at Alkaff Mansion, a historical colonial mansion perched atop Telok Blangah hill. With the intricate European architecture as well as a lush front lawn, Huishi and Kelvin’s big day certainly looked grand and impressive.

The military wedding added to this grandeur, with Kelvin and his sword bearers looking dashing in his traditional military. The highlight of this military wedding was definitely the Arch of Sword ceremony. This tradition involves the bride and groom passing through an honorary arch of swords, which signifies a safe passage for the newlyweds as they enter into a new chapter of life together!
The ceremony was not only emotional for the couples themselves, but the guests who were there to witness this beautiful union were incredibly touched too by the numerous sweet and lovely moments during the ceremony.
From the small details to the big gestures, it’s clear that Kelvin and Huishi’s big day was beautifully romantic and filled with genuine joy and love.
