Avid Pokémon fans Yun Ru & Desmond traveled to Hokkaido for a vibrant summer pre-wedding shoot that seamlessly blended playful personal passions with nature's breathtaking palettes. Wearing elegant gowns from Singapore atelier Bridefully Yours, their journey moved from the ethereal turquoise waters of Shirogane Blue Pond to the sprawling lavender fields and alpaca farm at Shikisai No Oka. Their adventure concluded surrounded by the tall, quiet silver birches of Takushinkan, with their favorite plush companions bringing heartwarming smiles to every step.
Shirogane Blue Pond
The shoot began along the wooden promenade surrounding Shirogane Blue Pond, where vibrant turquoise waters reflected towering larch trees and soft summer skies. Yun Ru wore an exquisite mermaid gown from Bridefully Yours featuring a fitted lace bodice and a flowing train, while Desmond looked sharp in a dark fitted suit. Smiling under the leafy canopy, the couple brought out their favorite Pokémon plushies—Mudkip and Buizel—posing playfully beside the water's edge. The blend of sleek bridal fashion, playful props, and the iconic electric-blue backdrop created an unforgettable, lighthearted start to their Hokkaido journey.

Shikisai No Oka & Alpaca Farm
Transitioning to Shikisai No Oka, the couple changed into matching midnight-blue outfits—Yun Ru in a breezy sleeveless mini dress and Desmond in a dark button-down shirt. Surrounded by vibrant purple lavender rows stretching toward distant hills, Desmond gave Yun Ru a sweet piggyback ride as they laughed through the fields. Nearby at the alpaca farm, they fed gentle alpacas from wooden pens, enjoying lighthearted interactions up close. The relaxed attire, bright floral shades, and carefree animal encounters captured the joyful, unscripted spirit of their summer date.
Takushinkan
For the final chapter of the day, they visited the peaceful birch grove surrounding Takushinkan. Yun Ru changed into a second creation from Bridefully Yours—a whimsical structured mini dress adorned with textured floral appliqués and a sweeping detachable train—while Desmond wore a clean white shirt and dark trousers. Wandering hand-in-hand along forest paths framed by tall white trunks and soft green foliage, they shared quiet looks and lifted their Pokémon plushies high toward the open sky over rolling green fields, ending their shoot on a dreamy, memorable note.
