It all started with a wedding — ours.
Back in 2015, we (Scott and Eve) were planning our big day and, like many couples, we dreamed of doing our pre-wedding shoot overseas. The idea sounded magical… until we started planning it.
Flying our own photography crew overseas was painfully expensive. Alternatively, you could take a leap of faith with a local overseas photographer, with no idea how to handle gowns, makeup, or even transport in a foreign country. It felt like something that should have been magical was turning into a logistical headache.
It was overwhelming, messy, risky, and far from romantic.
We thought: There has to be a better way.
We shared our frustrations with our good friend Ray — someone Eve had known since primary school. Over countless late-night chats (and too much coffee), the three of us realised we weren't the only ones facing this.
And so, OneThreeOneFour was born — not just as a business, but as a promise to couples like us. We wanted to build the kind of experience we wished we had — one where couples could simply show up and enjoy their shoot, while everything else was taken care of.
