Hokkaido Summer Rainbow Flowers and Railway Track Japan Prewedding Photoshoot
A Hokkaido Love Story
One of the best times to visit Hokkaido is during summer, when all the flowers are in full bloom. Dionne and Donald had their pre-wedding photoshoot in Hokkaido, and all the colours were at full blast. There is no better place to capture the height of summer than at a flower farm, with the iconic Hokkaido rainbow flowers!
We transported Dionne and Donald into a Japanese anime film by bringing them to a railway station for some shots. Those were our favorite as they seem too surreal to be true!

The day opened quietly at Torinuma Park, where Dionne and her fiance stood beside still water framed by dense greenery, then wandered beneath the trees and paused beside a weathered bus along the way. The landscape soon widened into country roads and rolling fields before bursting into color at Shikisai-no-oka. They walked between rows of orange and pink flowers, sat among the blooms, and let the open views set a lighter pace. At Hinode Park, softer purple fields took over as the light warmed toward the horizon. From shaded water to bright flower rows and expansive hills, each change of scenery gave the day a different rhythm without ever breaking its easy flow.
The farther they went, the wider Hokkaido seemed to open around them.
