The weather was bright and beautiful for this Singapore couple's pre-wedding photoshoot in Furano and Biei! We headed to the famous blue pond for a photoshoot with the waters that were so blue, they almost look otherworldly! During Summer, it will be a sin to not visit the colourful flower farms in Furano. Our couple had so much fun dancing amidst the endless stretches of lavender blooms, you definitely have to witness Hokkaido in full bloom at least once in your life!
Blue Pond & Lavender Park
Blue Pond gave Sheena & Nathan a calm start, with its pale turquoise water appearing between slender trees and layers of green. They stayed close along the wooded paths, pausing beside the water before the scenery opened up completely at the lavender fields. There, neat rows of purple flowers stretched across the hillside beneath a bright sky, changing the mood from quiet and shaded to light and expansive. They walked between the lavender, sat together among the blooms, and let the wider landscape take over. Her white gown stood out softly against both settings, while Nathan’s change from gray to navy added a deeper contrast once they reached the fields.
The day began in blue and slowly opened into a field of purple.
