Hokkaido Pre-Wedding Photoshoot | Resort Carousel, Log Cabin, Birch Forest & Niseko Village
A Hokkaido Love Story
Drawn to Hokkaido’s quiet winter snowscapes, Joey Chan & Raphael Lee embarked on an unforgettable pre-wedding trip filled with whimsical warmth and spontaneous energy. Wearing elegant gowns from Singapore bridal studio Bridefully Yours, their day unfolded smoothly across contrasts—from glowing indoor merry-go-round lights and cozy log cabin hearths to playing in deep snow drifts beside silver birch trees, before wrapping up with evening street food under Niseko's village lights.
Resort Carousel
The day began inside the Resort, where a grand two-story indoor merry-go-round cast a warm, golden glow across the hall. Joey Chan wore a dramatic ball gown from Bridefully Yours featuring a textured, flower-pelted skirt, while Raphael Lee stood sharply beside her in a classic dark tuxedo. Posing along the carved wooden railing and laughing between ornate carved horses, the dreamy indoor setting offered a whimsical escape from the freezing weather outside. The rich, nostalgic atmosphere highlighted their easy camaraderie, setting a lighthearted tone for the adventure ahead.
From bright carousel lights to snowy forest paths, their love brought endless warmth to Hokkaido's winter air.
Resort Log House
Moving to a rustic log cabin framed by deep snowbanks, the mood shifted to relaxed, quiet intimacy. Step by step, they explored the heavy timber balconies and high-ceilinged interior. Joey kept her statement gown while adding a sheer veil, sitting comfortably beside Raphael on a plush sofa near the brick fireplace. Watching flames flicker in the hearth, they shared soft glances and warm embraces as snow fell silently outside the large windows, capturing a private moment of lingering stillness in the heart of winter.
Birch Forest & Snowfields
Stepping out into the crisp, open air of the snow-covered forest, Joey changed into a striking midnight-blue sequined gown, while Raphael complemented her in a dark suit. Surrounded by tall, slender silver birch trees and powdery white drifts, their playful nature completely took over. They danced across the snow, tossed freshly gathered snowballs at each other, and laughed unrestrainedly as they ran through the forest. The bold contrast of her glittering blue dress against the stark white snowscape made every candid embrace pop with vibrant, youthful energy.
Niseko Village
As night descended, the couple layered up in cozy dark winter coats and headed into Niseko’s lively village center. Walking hand-in-hand along snow-dusted sidewalks, they paused outside illuminated food trucks and wooden izakaya stalls decorated with glowing lanterns. Clinking bottles of local beer and sipping warm drinks in the crisp night air, their infectious smiles mirrored the welcoming glow of the mountain town around them. The casual, food-filled evening walk brought their snowy Hokkaido story to a wonderfully grounded, festive conclusion.
As village lanterns glowed against the night snow, their winter journey closed in laughter and warmth.
