Silvy and Daryl’s pre-wedding shoot took them across Hokkaido in the middle of winter—a calm, playful kind of day that felt very much like them.
They started out in a Birch Forest, surrounded by tall white trees and fresh snow. With a gentle horse by their side and no one else around, it felt peaceful but fun. They played in the snow, tossing it into the air, laughing as it landed in their hair and on their coats. What could’ve been a quiet scene quickly turned into something full of joy—like having a private winter playground all to themselves.
Before heading to their next spot, they paused at an open stretch, where the landscape opened up into snowy fields and distant peaks. Still in the same look, they didn’t need much—just a few simple moments to take it all in before moving on.
At Rusutsu Resort, the energy shifted. They rode a vintage-style carousel, her gown catching the wind with every turn, light and a little playful. Daryl stood beside her in a gingham suit—clean, tailored, but not too serious. The cold was sharp but refreshing, adding a touch of thrill to the moment. Later, they stepped into the warmth of a log house, where everything slowed down. A small fire crackled nearby, soft light spilled across the wooden interior, and the atmosphere turned still and calm. The styling here felt natural—elegant, but easy. Nothing overdone, just the right kind of simple to let them settle in and enjoy the quiet together.
Their day wrapped in Hirafu Village, where warm light spilled from shops and small eateries lining the streets. They wandered through it all, hands wrapped around hot drinks, pausing to share sushi rolls from a favorite local spot and dipping into quaint stores along the way. In their thick winter coats and layered knits, it felt like just another evening together—comfortable, familiar, and full of tiny discoveries. Everything about the look fit right in, as if the day had been imagined just like this from the start—easy, natural, and completely theirs.
What started out as a shoot ended up feeling like a day made for them. No big plans, no rush—just moments shared in a place that gave them space to be themselves.
