Choosing Interlaken for their pre-wedding shoot marked a beautiful first chapter in their love story, set against some of the world’s most breathtaking scenery. The couple fondly recalls the day’s journey, sharing their most memorable moments — from a serene boat ride across turquoise waters to relaxed evening strolls through charming alpine villages. The day flowed effortlessly, blending excitement, spontaneous joy and togetherness, creating a story that is uniquely theirs — one they will treasure forever. Lake Brienz The morning started at Lake Brienz, where crystal-blue waters mirrored the surrounding peaks and soft morning light shimmered across the lake. Hazelle and James stepped onto a private boat drifting gently on the water, hand in hand, laughter floating across the serene landscape. “It was such a perfect start to the day! The team planned everything so flawlessly,” Hazelle shared. Soft florals adorned the boat, adding a romantic touch to the scene. Hazelle wore a fitted white satin gown from Truly Enamoured, her hair down in soft curls that moved gently in the alpine breeze, while James complemented her in a sage green suit. Against the backdrop of blue waters, lush greenery, and towering mountains, every moment felt intimate, peaceful, and undeniably magical. After the boat ride, they spent time by the boat dock, lingering by the water and soaking in the calm of the morning. With the turquoise lake stretching endlessly behind them and mountains rising in the distance, these quieter moments became some of the most meaningful. Grindelwald Village Next, the couple moved to Grindelwald Village, where rolling meadows met dramatic alpine peaks. Even though they had explored the area a day earlier, the actual shoot location was completely secluded and serene. “When we arrived for the shoot, it was completely empty, no tourists at all. It’s clear the team knew the perfect spot. The photos turned out beautifully,” James shared. Golden sunlight spilled across the wildflowers and wooden bridges. Hazelle changed into a flowy gown adorned with delicate 3D florals, her hair in a neat low bun paired with a simple long veil that caught the wind beautifully. James switched into a crisp white suit, and together they looked effortlessly match-made against the alpine scenery. As the breeze picked up, laughter followed — and at one point, the veil even took flight, adding a playful, cinematic moment. First Cliff Walk From Grindelwald, Hazelle and James took a scenic gondola ride to First Cliff Walk, rising gracefully above rolling meadows and sparkling streams. The valley beneath unfolded like a painting, each ridge more mesmerizing than the last. Suspended between earth and sky, the gondola became its own intimate space. Hazelle’s low bun kept her look polished, while soft conversations, gentle laughter, and stolen glances filled the ride. “Floating above the mountains, it felt magical — like our own little world up there,” Hazelle recalls. Lauterbrunnen Village The final stop was Lauterbrunnen Village, where the couple transitioned into a relaxed, casual look to close the day. Both wore sunshine-yellow outfits paired with stylish black boots, blending effortlessly into the charming village setting. Hazelle’s braided hair was adorned with flowers from the Lake Brienz boat set, tying the day’s story together in a thoughtful, beautiful way. “As the early evening light bathed the village and street lamps began to glow, the set became one of our favourites,” Hazelle shares. The candid, unposed moments captured laughter, quiet embraces, and the effortless joy of being together. The day was also filled with small, unexpected joys. Hazelle recalls meeting a listener of her YES 933 radio show: “She said, ‘We saw your Instagram story from yesterday, so we know you’re in Switzerland, but we didn’t expect to bump into you here!’ It was so refreshing to meet someone from home so far away.” Other moments included playful teasing, shared laughter, and spontaneous exchanges, all captured naturally by the OneThreeOneFour team.
