Jesse and Lotte tied their knot with a classic church wedding in Maastricht, Netherlands. But before they exchange their vows, they made sure to capture memories of the most important event in their lives at Helpoort, the oldest city gate in Netherlands.
The couple’s first look unveils a pure and happy moment, where the bride is seen walking excitedly towards the groom, who had a bouquet of coral spring blooms in his hands.
These precious moments were beautifully captured on camera by their photographer, Lieke from Lieke Huiting Photography.
The couple then proceeded to their wedding reception, which was held at De Ster van Maastricht. This was where guests joined the couple to celebrate their union and their new journey as husband and wife.
The simple and sweet wedding reception was completed with handmade decor, including pink candles and lovely heart-shaped confetti, all of which were made lovingly by the bride’s friends.
The big day ended with the couple’s most significant and romantic moment, where Jesse and Lotte exchanged their vows whilst being surrounded by their loved ones in Sint Jan Church.
The joy and bliss of the couple’s union were not only felt by the couple themselves, but resonated with the photographer, Lieke, who shared with us her thoughts on photographing the newly weds.
I realised once again what a truly unique and beautiful thing a marriage is and how lucky I was to capture the love between those two kindhearted people. A wedding I will always hold dear in my heart.
