A memorable wedding photoshoot on first visit to the garden city

Flying to Singapore for the first time for a wedding shoot and a family visit

Client: David & Carol from United States

David and Carol from the United States came to Singapore to visit their family, and they decided to have a shoot here since it was Carol’s first time here in the little red dot! She was amazed by our lovely garden city and we captured the precious memories that they have made here!

The lovely couple had their photoshoot at Cavenagh Bridge, which is the only suspension bridge in Singapore. The bridge definitely added a historical charm to David and Carol’s photos, since it is one of the oldest bridges here in Singapore that still exists in its original form. David and Carol’s mums even joined them in their shoot, and both the couple held their mums’ hands while we captured this sweet and touching moment for them!

Decked in a patterned suit, David looked smart for their shoot at the Marina Barrage. Carol looked gorgeous as well, with her bright red flowy gown, and they looked absolutely stunning! The Marina Barrage was a perfect location for the couple, as they were able to capture the clear sky, as well as the beautiful skyline of Singapore.

Since it was Carol’s first time here in Singapore, the Gardens By The Bay is a location that is not to be missed! David and Carol had a wonderful time shooting at the Gardens By The Bay, with the magnificent supertrees as the backdrop. The supertrees have a unique design and they are as tall as a 16-storey building, and the supertrees made David and Carol’s photoshoot look even more extraordinary! Carol even wore a mini tiara and coupled with her elegant white flowy gown, she looked like a princess from a fairy-tale.

The sweet couple even left some kind words for OneThreeOneFour:

Wanyong, one of their staff and I consider her my guide, read through my 1000-word-long requirement, and confirmed every detail. I feel she knew what I wanted better than I was and so lucky to have my journey arranged by 1314. The whole process was seamless, from arranging makeup artist and photographer to dress-fitting (oh, and they have a really fancy wedding dress collection), I didn’t need to worry about a thing. Eve was in charge of my dress-fitting and she was very patient. And not to mention the impeccable service I received on the actual shooting day. The schedule was arranged down to minutes. The makeup artists Susan and Iris are so sweet, they did makeup not only on me and my husband, but also our moms. Last but not least, our photographer Michael, who loves his job, led us through the whole process. He is very passionate and we thank him a lot for taking care of every need we have (and so sorry for the mosquito bites you got for the sake of our pictures!). Taking pictures in Singapore’s weather was not easy, but all we can recall now was happiness and laughter thanks to 1314.
