Jeju Pre-Wedding Photoshoot | Sangye-dong Forest, Yerae Ecological Park & Hyeopjae Beach
A Jeju Island Love Story
Spring gave this Jeju pre-wedding shoot a fresh, easy rhythm, beginning in the quiet shade of Sangye-dong Forest before opening into the bright yellow fields of Yerae Ecological Park and ending by the coast at Hyeopjae Beach. Jane & Sean moved through each setting with a natural sense of ease, shifting from quieter, more intimate moments to something lighter and more playful. The story felt clean, relaxed, and shaped by the contrast between forest, field, and sea.
Sangye-dong Forest
Sangye-dong Forest set a quiet, grounded tone for the beginning of the day. Surrounded by tall, straight trees and a floor layered with fallen needles, Jane & Sean eased into the shoot at an unhurried pace. The setting felt calm and enclosed, with soft light filtering through the trees and drawing attention back to the two of them. Sean’s white suit kept the look crisp against the darker greens and browns of the forest, while Jane’s gown and veil brought a softer texture into the scene. From walking hand in hand along the path to the more intimate veil moments, this first stop felt still, private, and gently immersive.
The day began in the hush of the trees, where everything felt slower and closer.
Yerae Ecological Park
The mood shifted as soon as they arrived at Yerae Ecological Park. After the depth and shade of the forest, the wide field, yellow blooms, and open sky brought in a brighter energy. Jane & Sean’s styling changed too, with Sean in a black tuxedo and Jane in a white gown that stood out cleanly against the fresh green and yellow landscape. There was more movement here—walking through the flowers, reaching for each other, laughing between frames, and letting the openness of the space loosen the tone of the shoot. Even with that lighter energy, the connection between them stayed easy and composed, giving this part of the story a fresh, spring-forward feel.
Hyeopjae Beach
The final stop at Hyeopjae Beach brought the shoot to the coast and gave the story a more open finish. After moving through the enclosed quiet of the forest and the bright energy of the flower field, the beach naturally introduced a simpler, more spacious change of pace. This last stretch feels less about contrast for its own sake and more about letting the day settle into something lighter and more expansive. With the shoreline as the closing setting, the overall story gains a clear sense of progression—from stillness, to color, to openness—ending the shoot on a note that feels relaxed, balanced, and complete.
By the coast, the day opened out fully and came to rest with ease.
