This Jeju pre-wedding shoot unfolded with a gentle sense of contrast—starting in the stillness of Wangimae Forest, opening up into the bright floral landscape of Yerae Ecological Park, and ending by the water at Geumneung Beach. Jia Xian & Mavis moved through each setting with an easy, unforced connection, letting the surroundings shift the mood of the day. From quiet woodland moments to a softer, more playful finish by the shore, the story felt calm, intimate, and naturally paced.
Wangimae Forest
Wangimae Forest set a quieter tone for the beginning of the shoot. Surrounded by tall, straight trees and a path covered in fallen needles, Jia Xian & Mavis eased into the day without rushing it. The light came through in narrow bands, giving the forest a soft contrast between shade and sun. In her simple gown and with a bouquet in hand, Mavis stood out gently against the darker woodland backdrop, while Jia Xian’s beige suit kept the look light and natural. They walked side by side, paused to look at each other, and let the stillness of the setting carry the mood. It felt intimate in a grounded, unshowy way.
The day began where the light fell quietly between the trees.
Yerae Ecological Park
The second stop opened everything up. At Yerae Ecological Park, the story shifted from the depth of the forest into a brighter landscape of blossoms, yellow flowers, open sky, and water running gently through the park. Jia Xian & Mavis lingered on the rocks by the stream, moved beneath flowering trees, and spent time simply sitting together among the blooms. The scene felt lighter here, helped by the fresh colors and the wider space around them. There was also a softer playfulness to this part of the shoot, especially in the moments where they looked less posed and more fully settled into the afternoon. It added warmth without breaking the calm of the day.
Geumneung Beach
The beach was quiet, with muted evening light, a soft horizon, and plenty of open space around them. Instead of moving through a busy sequence, they stayed present in small gestures—holding hands, smiling across the sparkler glow, and standing close as dusk settled in.
