Autumn gave this Seoul pre-wedding shoot a gentle rhythm, moving from the soft pink tones of Muhly Park to the golden light of Seoul Forest, before ending on the relaxed streets of a neighborhood cafe district. Across the day, Ivy & Jun Hua moved between polished portrait moments and quieter, more playful ones. The result felt varied but cohesive—rooted in the season, shaped by the city, and carried by the easy way the two of them were together.
Muhly Park
The day opened in a field of pink muhly, where everything felt soft around the edges—warm light, pale grasses, and autumn trees already turning amber in the background. Ivy & Jun Hua kept the mood unhurried here, staying close as they moved through the narrow paths and open patches of grass. Her gown caught the light gently, while his light-toned suit blended easily into the warm palette of the scene. Some moments felt especially intimate, like the frames beneath the veil or the quieter pauses with just the two of them in the middle of the field. It was a light, airy beginning that eased the story into motion.
Seoul began in shades of pink, with the afternoon moving slowly around them.
Seoul Forest
At Seoul Forest, the mood became richer and more layered. The pink openness of the first stop gave way to tree-lined paths, tall grasses, still water, and deeper autumn color. Ivy & Jun Hua’s darker, more formal styling shifted the tone as well, giving this part of the shoot a slightly more classic feel. They moved through different corners of the park without losing the calm pace of the day—pausing on the steps, standing beneath towering trees, lingering by the water, and letting the late sun filter through the leaves around them. With each change in setting, the story felt fuller, carrying more contrast while still staying soft and connected.
Cafe Street
The final stop changed the energy of the shoot in the best way. After the gowns and formalwear, Ivy & Jun Hua stepped into Cafe Street in casual outfits that made the session feel more like a real date than a portrait route. The setting was simple but full of character—brick facades, narrow lanes, storefronts, sidewalks scattered with fallen leaves, and sunlight slipping between buildings. They walked hand in hand, laughed easily, played with sunglasses, paused for small in-between moments, and let the neighborhood shape the mood. It brought a relaxed, everyday charm to the story, ending the day with something light, personal, and unmistakably their own.
The city no longer felt like a backdrop, but part of the way they spent the day together.
