A Taiwan Love Story
Returning home from the US for their pre-wedding photoshoot, Taiwanese couple Ashley Tung & Tony Wu set out to capture a celebration steeped in nostalgic energy and familiar landscapes. Their day unfolded seamlessly across vibrant contrasts—from playful moments in sneakers amidst the bustling streets and claw arcades of Ximending, to quiet embraces on the misty suspension bridge of Lengshuikeng, and finishing under the glowing red lanterns and street food stalls of Jiufen Old Street.
Ximending
The day kicked off with high energy in the heart of Ximending. Ashley Tung wore a fun, short strapless white bridal dress paired with white sneakers and a short veil, while Tony Wu wore a relaxed dark suit. Posing dynamically by giant soft-serve ice cream displays, running hand-in-hand across street crossings, and playing together inside neon-lit claw crane arcades, their playful chemistry set an effortless, youthful tone. The urban streetscape and vibrant neon lights captured the fun, spontaneous side of their homecoming journey.

Leng Shui Keng
Trading neon lights for mountain air, the couple headed up to Lengshuikeng in Yangmingshan. Ashley changed into a floor-length white lace ballgown, while Tony wore a sharp black suit with a bow tie. Walking along the wooden suspension bridge framed by misty, cloud-covered peaks, they shared close embraces and tender looks. Moving down toward quiet park ponds and tree-lined paths with a long sheer veil catch the breeze, the moody mountain atmosphere brought a quiet, romantic rhythm to their afternoon.
Jiufen
As dusk fell, they arrived in Jiufen Old Street as red paper lanterns lit up along narrow, winding stairways. Ashley made a striking statement in a strapless crimson red evening gown, while Tony complemented her in his dark suit. Wandering past bustling food stalls, they paused to sample local fishball soup and taro balls, feeding each other and laughing among the evening crowds. Posing under the iconic red lanterns of A-Mei Tea House, their night walk brought their Taiwanese pre-wedding trip to a warm, festive close.
From neon street corners to mountain mist and lantern-lit steps, their story came full circle back home.
