A Perth Love Story
An autumn pre-wedding journey across Western Australia brought Janette & Ka Yung from the limestone heritage of Fremantle to the windswept coastal dunes of Lancelin. Moving at their own unhurried pace, the day balanced structured architectural romance with the vast, open textures of Perth's natural landscape, before winding down as sunset settled gently over the beach.
Fremantle
The day began among the warm brickwork and grand stone archways of Fremantle. In the cool autumn morning light, Janette moved in a sweeping white gown while Ka Yung stood by in a dark teal suit. Soft shadows fell across the paved streets as they paused by carved doorways and towering facades, letting the calm atmosphere of the heritage port city dictate their rhythm before heading toward the river edge.

Blue House
Arriving at the Crawley Edge Boatshed, the scenery opened up to river quietness. Bright skies reflected off the water as they walked down the wooden jetty toward the blue timber shed. With the cool wind coming off the bay, Ka Yung shed his suit jacket, allowing the mood to shift into something lighter and more spontaneous while they shared quiet moments out over the water.
Lancelin
Driving north into Lancelin, the surroundings transformed into vast sweeps of fine white sand. As the late afternoon light turned warm and golden, Janette navigated the sloping dunes in her halter gown while Ka Yung stayed close against the steady sea breeze. Bare feet sank into the cool sand as they shared quiet laughter against the uninterrupted expanse of sky, watching shadows lengthen across the sand crests.
Lancelin Beach
To close the day, a quick change into relaxed black attire matched the easygoing feel of the coast at sunset. Walking along the wet tide line where gentle waves hit the shore, the sky softened into quiet twilight hues of pink and blue. Unfiltered and completely at ease, Janette & Ka Yung traced the tide line together, concluding their journey through Western Australia's changing landscapes.
