To celebrate the next chapter of their marriage, Gina Fabian & Elliot Anico brought their wedding gowns to Japan for an intimate post-wedding photoshoot. Their journey flowed effortlessly from the vibrant, cherry blossom-lined streets of Gion to the tranquil glades of Nara, where they performed a sacred foot-washing ritual under the spring trees. Finishing high above the valley on Mt. Wakakusa alongside roaming deer, every moment felt deeply personal and grounded in shared devotion.
Gion
The day began amidst the traditional machiya architecture of Gion, where weeping cherry blossoms cascaded softly over quiet flagstone paths. Dressed in vibrant Japanese attire—Gina Fabian in a turquoise and ocean-blue kimono detailed with intricate floral motifs and holding a cream paper parasol, and Elliot Anico in a pale grey and white patterned haori—the couple stepped under red wooden gates and wooden temple eaves. Sharing light smiles across stone bridges and beneath full-bloom branches, their quiet morning walk infused the historic district with an easy, celebratory warmth.

Nara Deer Park
Transitioning into classic wedding attire, Gina Fabian wore a fitted white lace gown while Elliot Anico stepped out in a light tan suit. In Nara Deer Park, under sprawling weeping cherry trees and near wooden pavilions, they paused for a meaningful ritual. Sitting together on the grass, Elliot gently washed and dried Gina's feet—a sacred ceremony of humble love and devotion drawn from their faith. Wakakusa
For the final leg of their shoot, they ascended the open pastures of Mt. Wakakusa as twilight softened the valley sky. Gina attached a delicate sheer veil that caught the gentle summit breeze, while inquisitive deer approached them on the ridge.
