Seeking an authentic seasonal escape, Yeo Min Shean & Neo Wei Jian (Bryan) chose the timeless countryside of Kyoto and Nara for their pre-wedding photoshoot. Their itinerary moved gently through autumn's rich textures—starting with casual, cozy moments along the stony banks of the Kamo River, continuing beneath deep crimson maples at Nara, and finishing atop Mt. Wakakusa as golden hour dissolved into evening dusk.
Kamo River
The day started along the open, breeze-swept shores of the Kamo River, framed by golden foliage and gentle waters. Dressed in comfortable outerwear—Yeo Min Shean in an off-white trench coat over a cream sweater and Neo Wei Jian (Bryan) in a warm brown casual jacket—they strolled down the grassy banks and balanced hand-in-hand across the iconic stone stepping blocks. Tossing fallen yellow leaves into the air and sharing quiet hugs under leafy branches, their lighthearted laughter brought an effortless, lived-in warmth to the cool morning air.
A crisp river breeze and quiet steps along stone paths set a relaxed, intimate pace.
Nara Deer Park
Transitioning to Nara Deer Park, the couple changed into elegant evening wear, with Yeo Min Shean in an off-the-shoulder white gown featuring delicate lace detailing, and Neo Wei Jian (Bryan) in a sharp dark navy tuxedo. Wandering over wooden bridges and past serene ponds, they paused under vibrant red maple canopies that framed every angle in deep autumnal color. Friendly local deer quietly approached them near the water, adding a spontaneous charm as the two shared tender glances and strolled along the fallen leaf trails.
Mt. Wakakusa
As the afternoon faded, they climbed the quiet, open ridges of Mt. Wakakusa overlooking the city below. Yeo Min Shean added a flowing sheer veil that caught the hilltop breeze, while the setting sun cast an amber glow over the dry grasslands and roaming deer. Standing together on the crest as the horizon softened into warm pink and orange tones, they embraced close against the wide sky. The tranquil height and glowing twilight brought their romantic autumn journey to a breathless, memorable close.
