Drawn to the quiet beauty of Japan in autumn, Zann & Yufang set out to capture their pre-wedding story across historical stone paths and wide mountain ridges. Outfitted in elegant creations from Singapore bridal studio Bridefully Yours, their journey evolved naturally throughout the day—beginning with a casual, layered look amidst the vibrant red maples of Ninenzaka, continuing into a classic white bridal aesthetic by Nara’s wooden pavilions, and closing high above the valley under a glowing sunset on Mt. Wakakusa.
Ninenzaka
The day began with a relaxed stroll down Ninenzaka, where stone pathways wind past traditional wooden storefronts and distant pagodas. Dressed casually for the crisp morning air—Zann in a dark cardigan over a white skirt and Yufang in a beige zip jacket—the two explored the historic sloped streets under a canopy of fiery red maple leaves. Piggyback rides, candid laughs, and quiet pauses along stone staircases set a lighthearted, intimate tone. The vibrant autumn foliage paired effortlessly with their easygoing style, capturing a grounded and authentic start to their shoot.

Nara Deer Park
Transitioning into refined bridal wear, Zann wore a delicate gown from Bridefully Yours featuring a leafy lace bodice and a breezy tulle skirt, while Yufang dressed in a crisp ivory suit. At Nara Park, they paused beside a serene lake framed by bright yellow ginkgo trees and rich crimson foliage. Wandering through open wooden pavilions and beneath arched bridges, the setting provided a peaceful, refined atmosphere. Soft embraces under leafy canopies and quiet moments along the water mirrored the timeless, airy nature of their attire.
Mt. Wakakusa
For the final hours of the day, they climbed to the open grasslands of Mt. Wakakusa overlooking the city below. As the sun dipped toward the horizon, casting a deep amber glow across the hillside, friendly local deer gathered around them. Zann attached a long, sheer lace veil that caught the summit breeze, creating a dramatic silhouette against the radiant skyline. Dancing together on the dry grassy ridge, laughing with the deer, and embracing as twilight settled over the mountain, their adventure closed on a breathtaking, golden note.
High above the city, golden twilight brought their autumn journey to a quiet close.
