A summer day in Perth unfolds in distinct rhythms, shifting naturally from quiet city heritage to open landscape. For Esther & Man Hin, the journey moved from the weathered stone corners of Fremantle to the sweeping white sands of Lancelin, before softening under the shaded green canopy of UWA. Ending along the quiet shores of Coogee Beach as the sun dipped low, their shoot captures a grounded, unhurried portrait of Western Australia in full light.
Fremantle
The morning began among the textured limestone architecture and shaded laneways of Fremantle. Soft summer shadows fell across red brick facades and grand arched doorways, giving the old port town an easy, timeless tempo. Esther & Man Hin moved naturally through the streets, stopping beneath quiet balconies and framed entryways. There was no rush to their steps—just simple moments of connection set against contrast-heavy walls, clean geometric details, and subtle greenery poking through stone, setting an unpretentious tone for the day ahead.

Lancelin Sand Dunes
Heading north toward Lancelin, the surroundings transformed completely into a vast expanse of bright white dunes reaching toward a clear sky. Barefoot on the soft sand, Esther & Man Hin leaned into the open space and coastal winds. Her white gown caught the breeze with every step while his taupe suit fit the earth-toned warmth of the landscape. They ran down steep ridgelines and walked along the crests, leaving subtle footprints behind in an environment defined by light, movement, and endless horizons.
University of Western Australia (UWA)
Returning closer to the river, the shade of UWA provided a serene change of atmosphere. Sandstone colonnades framed long perspective lines, while dense tropical ferns and palms filtered the harsh afternoon light into soft, dappled pockets. Here, Esther changed into an intricately embellished gown that caught the subtle glimmers of filtered sun. Standing within the quiet corridors and lush gardens, the couple took a breathing space away from the heat, sharing close whispers enveloped by green leaves and warm stone.
Coogee Beach
As late afternoon turned into golden hour, the day drew to a close at Coogee Beach. Stripping away formality for light white attire, they walked along the water’s edge where calm ocean waves washed over the shore. The low sun cast a warm golden glow across the wet sand and wooden jetty jutting out into the sea. Laughing through the shallow water and sharing quiet embraces against the horizon, Esther & Man Hin ended the summer day exactly as it had unfolded—effortless, grounded, and surrounded by open light.
