Mt. Fuji & Tokyo Pre-Wedding Photoshoot | Chureito Pagoda, Lake Kawaguchiko & Shinjuku
A Tokyo Love Story
Enchanted by Japan's striking contrast between tranquil natural wonder and buzzing urban life, Myatt Noe Htun & Oak Soe Thar set out to document their love story across iconic vistas. Their journey unfolded gracefully under the shadow of Mt. Fuji—from the iconic tiers of Chureito Pagoda to the quiet shores of Lake Kawaguchiko—before transitioning into the neon-lit alleyways of Shinjuku. With delicate lace gowns, playful street moments, and dramatic mountain views, every frame feels deeply personal and unforgettable.
Chureito Pagoda
The day began on the hillside overlooking Fujiyoshida, where the famous five-tiered Chureito Pagoda stands sentinel over Mt. Fuji. Myatt Noe Htun wore a breathtaking long-sleeved lace gown with an expansive cathedral train and a matching sheer lace veil, while Oak Soe Thar looked dapper in a black tuxedo. Wandering past red torii gates and framed by autumn foliage, they paused along the wooden deck to take in the vast valley views. The grand architecture and dramatic mountain silhouettes provided a regal, timeless backdrop as they held hands high above the town.
From sacred mountain steps to the electric heartbeat of the metropolis, their romance lit up every landscape.
Lake Kawaguchiko
Descending to the gentle shores of Lake Kawaguchiko, the atmosphere shifted to pure tranquility. Surrounded by swaying tall grasses and towering pine branches, the couple took a quiet moment to lean into each other as the calm water stretched into the horizon. Oak Soe Thar gently lifted the veil over both their heads, creating a private, dreamy haven within the open landscape. With soft smiles, forehead kisses, and hands intertwined along the stony beach, these shoreline portraits captured the peaceful, intimate heart of their mountain escape.
Shinjuku
As night fell, the couple traveled to Shinjuku, trading quiet nature for the electric energy of the city. Myatt Noe Htun made a stylish, modern statement in an off-the-shoulder puff-sleeve mini dress paired with her veil, while Oak Soe Thar wore his sleek dark suit. They posed playfully at vibrant vending machines, walked hand-in-hand past glowing izakaya lanterns in Omoide Yokocho, and shared quick laughs amidst the bright neon signs of Kabukicho. This high-fashion, playful night shoot perfectly highlighted their fun-loving chemistry against Tokyo’s iconic midnight backdrop.
Between the stillness of mountain peaks and the bright glow of city alleyways, their journey together officially begins.
