Kyoto Pre-Wedding Photoshoot | Gion Streets, Higashiyama & Nara Park
A Kyoto, Osaka & Nara Love Story
Coco and Min Jie spent their day taking in Kyoto at a gentle pace. Starting among traditional wooden townhouses and vivid orange temple structures in kimonos, their journey moved naturally into Western attire along scenic roadways and open parklands. As soft evening light reached the lawns, deer drifted past to close out an unhurried day.
Gion Streets & Traditional Grounds
The morning began along quiet historic streets lined with classic wooden architecture and bright orange walls. Dressed in soft-toned kimonos, Coco carrying a paper umbrella, the pair paused beside dark timber pillars and stone steps. Moving together through the sanctuary spaces, the quiet surrounds set an easy rhythm for their time in Kyoto.

Higashiyama Roads & Pagoda View
Changing into a sleek dark suit and a fitted white wedding gown, Min Jie and Coco took to the open paths with iconic pagodas rising in the backdrop. Surrounded by green trees and classic rooftops, they strolled hand-in-hand down paved roadways, pausing briefly along stone bridges and quiet garden entries as light filtered through the canopy.
Nara Park Lawns
As the sun began to drop, the backdrop opened up into wide grassy fields bordered by blue skies and lush trees. Golden light streamed over the lawn as wild deer grazed nearby. Walking across the green field together in late afternoon light, Coco and Min Jie brought their Kyoto journey to a serene close.
