A Paris Love Story

Jayne and Wei Jie’s Paris pre-wedding day was less about ticking off landmarks and more about enjoying the city together. They started with the Eiffel Tower in view, followed the Seine into quieter moments by the water, wandered through some of Paris’s grandest architecture, and eventually stopped for a café break before ending at the Louvre. Somewhere between the big sights and the pauses in between, the day began to feel less like a photoshoot and more like their own little chapter in Paris.

A Paris Kind of Morning

There is something exciting about seeing the Eiffel Tower at the start of a day like this, even when you know exactly what to expect. For Jayne and Wei Jie, Trocadéro set the mood with wide-open views, clear skies, and a bunch of soft pink balloons that brought a playful touch to the morning. Between the bigger celebratory moments were the quieter ones: sitting together on the steps, stealing a look at each other, and simply taking in the fact that they were here, dressed up in Paris, with an entire day still ahead of them.

By the Seine

Down by the Seine, everything felt a little more private. The Eiffel Tower was still there, but farther away now, no longer demanding all the attention. Jayne and Wei Jie could slow down, stay close, and enjoy the quieter rhythm of the riverside. With the water moving beside them and the city carrying on overhead, this part of the day felt especially intimate. It was a nice reminder that Paris does not always need to feel grand. Sometimes the most memorable part is simply finding a quiet corner, holding each other close, and letting the rest of the city fade for a while.

A Little Parisian Grandeur

Petit Palais brought a different kind of energy to the day. Its sweeping steps, sculpted stonework, and gold doors made the setting feel grand, but Jayne and Wei Jie never seemed swallowed up by it. Instead, the scale of the architecture gave them room to simply stand together and enjoy the moment. There was something especially fitting about pausing here after the softer riverside scenes: a little more polished, a little more dramatic, but still centered on the same easy connection between them. Paris supplied the grandeur; they brought the warmth.

Across the Golden Bridge

Pont Alexandre III felt like Paris turned all the way up: ornate lamps, gilded details, sweeping views, and the Eiffel Tower appearing again in the distance. Yet by this point in the day, Jayne and Wei Jie looked completely at ease with the city around them. They had already settled into their own rhythm, so even a setting this elaborate felt relaxed rather than formal. The bridge became less about posing against another famous landmark and more about enjoying how different each part of Paris could feel, while still carrying the same familiar person beside you from one place to the next.

A Café Pause

After hours of moving through the city, sitting down at a sidewalk café felt exactly right. This was the part of the day where everything could loosen up: no grand landmark to take in, nowhere they needed to hurry to, just a small table, drinks, and time to talk. For Jayne and Wei Jie, that simple pause brought the shoot closer to what a real day in Paris might feel like. It was ordinary in the best way, and perhaps because of that, it felt especially personal—a little pocket of time where the photos mattered less than simply enjoying each other’s company.

An Afternoon at the Louvre

The Louvre made a fitting final chapter for Jayne and Wei Jie’s day. After experiencing Paris in so many different ways, they arrived somewhere that brought old and new together effortlessly: the historic palace, the glass pyramid, and long arcades stretching into the distance. There was no need for a dramatic ending. By then, the day already had its own story. They could simply walk beneath the arches, stay close, and take in one last piece of Paris together. It felt less like reaching the final location and more like lingering just a little longer before calling the day complete.
