A Kyoto, Osaka & Nara Love Story
Drawn to the quiet grace of Kansai in full bloom, Sonia & Teddy traveled to Japan to capture their love story during cherry blossom season. Wanting a seamless mix of timeless heritage and relaxed nature, they crafted a day that mirrored their easygoing connection. From traditional wooden townhouses to open grassy parklands, their journey unfolded beneath soft spring skies as pale pink petals framed every quiet glance and shared laugh.
Higashiyama & Yasaka Pagoda
Morning light softened over the preserved timber facades of Higashiyama as Sonia & Teddy stepped out in traditional attire. Sonia chose a striking scarlet kimono woven with gold floral accents, paired with a white parasol, while Teddy complemented her in a crisp, refined white haori ensemble. Together, they wandered quiet flagstone pathways framed by early cherry blossoms, pausing before the iconic backdrop of Yasaka Pagoda. The crisp morning air gave way to gentle laughter as they explored historic storefronts and wooden alcoves, establishing a timeless, grounded rhythm for the day ahead.

Keage Incline & Kamo Riverbanks
Transitioning into modern bridal attire, Sonia changed into a light tulle gown, while Teddy put on a tailored dark suit. At the disused Keage Incline, a dense canopy of cherry blossoms arched over the historic tracks. The couple walked hand in hand along the old rails, laughing as petals drifted through the air around them. Continuing down toward the gentle riverbank, the wide spring sky opened up, offering a breezy, radiant setting where they could move freely, enjoying the simple joy of spring in full bloom.
Nara Park
As the afternoon softened, the shoot moved south to the sprawling sanctuary of Nara Park. Bathed in warm, golden light, Sonia & Teddy strolled across open lawns surrounded by ancient trees and gentle free-roaming deer. The atmosphere shifted into something entirely effortless and playful as friendly deer approached the couple. Stepping away from historic architecture into expansive nature, they leaned into one another as the sun dipped low, finishing their Kansai session on a tranquil, unhurried note.
