Seoul Pre-Wedding Photoshoot | Seoul Forest, Namsangol Hanok Village & Samcheong-dong
A Korea Love Story
Alvin & Kimmie let their Seoul pre-wedding shoot unfold almost like four little stories within one spring day. They began beneath the cherry blossoms of Seoul Forest in classic wedding attire, then stepped into Namsangol Hanok Village twice — first in pastel hanbok, then in an elegant blue cheongsam and suit. By evening, formalities gave way to casual clothes and a wander through Samcheong-dong, where quiet lanes and glowing city lights brought the day to an easy, personal close.
Seoul Forest
Spring was already in full swing at Seoul Forest, where fresh green woods gave way to clouds of pale cherry blossoms. Kimmie wore a flowing white gown with a softly structured bodice, while Alvin kept the look timeless in a black suit. They walked between tall rows of trees, sat together beneath the blossoms, and paused wherever sunlight slipped through the branches. Then came the playful part: scooping petals into their hands and blowing them into the air, laughing as they scattered between them. That little burst of spontaneity set the tone beautifully — romantic, certainly, but never too precious to have some fun.
One spring day, four ways of being themselves — dressed up, dressed down, and always side by side.
Namsangol Hanok Village
At Namsangol Hanok Village, Alvin & Kimmie slipped into pastel hanbok and an entirely different pace. Their soft lavender and blush tones sat beautifully against dark timber beams, tiled roofs, stone walls, and the young greenery of spring. They wandered through open courtyards, rested together beneath wooden gateways, and sat along the veranda as warm afternoon light reached into the rooms behind them. Blossoming trees followed them through the grounds, adding softness to the traditional setting. There was an almost domestic tenderness to this chapter — less about grandeur, more about imagining the quiet pleasure of sharing ordinary days together.
Namsangol Hanok Village
Staying within Namsangol Hanok Village, Kimmie changed the mood completely with a deep blue cheongsam embroidered with pale floral motifs. Alvin matched her in a navy suit, creating a rich, elegant palette against the flowering gardens and traditional architecture. Together they walked beneath blossom-covered branches, paused beside the pavilion, and followed quieter paths where spring seemed to wrap around them from every direction. As the sun grew warmer and lower, the blue tones stood out even more vividly against the pink and white flowers. It was a graceful meeting of traditions, photographed with the ease of two people simply enjoying the beauty around them.
Samcheong-dong Cafe Streets
By Samcheong-dong, Alvin & Kimmie had traded ceremony for the comfort of an everyday date. In relaxed spring outfits, they walked hand in hand past leafy streets, neighborhood walls, little stairways, and tucked-away corners that felt far removed from the formality of the earlier portraits. They stopped beneath flowering trees, teased each other along the lanes, and kept walking as daylight faded into blue hour. Soon, warm lights began appearing through the alleys and Seoul shimmered beyond the rooftops. The final photographs became quieter and more cinematic, ending not with a grand pose, but with two silhouettes leaning toward each other beneath the evening sky.
After all the dresses, blossoms, and beautiful places, the last frame felt the simplest: just the two of them, still walking together.
