Seoul Pre-Wedding Photoshoot | Yongsan Park, Yonsei University & Kyung Hee University
A Korea Love Story
For Lyvia & Jonathan, spring in Seoul felt like the perfect setting for a pre-wedding day that could be both soft and grand. They were drawn to the season’s fleeting beauty — cherry blossoms, fresh greenery, and that gentle light that seems to make everything feel a little more romantic. Their story unfolded through the open paths of Yongsan Park, the stately symmetry of Yonsei University, and the cathedral-like elegance of Kyung Hee University, with each stop revealing a different side of their day together.
Yongsan Park
Yongsan Park opened the day on a gentle note. Beneath pale blossoms, fresh willow branches, and bands of yellow flowers, Lyvia & Jonathan eased into the morning with the kind of unhurried energy that suits spring so well. Lyvia wore a classic white gown with a soft, full skirt that moved beautifully along the paths, while Jonathan kept things timeless in a black tuxedo. They wandered between trees, paused by the railing, sat close on a bench, and even slipped in a playful little selfie moment. The park felt airy and calm, giving their first chapter a sweetness that carried effortlessly into the rest of the shoot.
Spring gave them the scenery, but it was the quiet way they stayed close that made the day feel luminous.
Yonsei University
At Yonsei University, the mood turned more poised. Framed by the school’s stately stone façade, clipped hedges, and long central walkway, Lyvia & Jonathan stepped into a scene that felt polished without losing its warmth. Lyvia changed into a pale blue gown that added a dreamy wash of color against the neutral architecture, its train trailing elegantly behind her as they moved across the grounds. Jonathan stayed in a dark suit, crisp and understated beside her. They walked the formal paths, turned back toward one another in the middle of the quad, and let the grand symmetry of the campus heighten the sense of occasion.
Kyung Hee University
The final chapter at Kyung Hee University carried the most dramatic sense of scale. Towering Gothic architecture, broad stone stairways, and blossom-lined paths gave Lyvia & Jonathan a setting that felt almost cinematic. Lyvia changed again, this time into a deep navy gown that brought richness and contrast to the pale stone surroundings, while Jonathan’s navy suit echoed the look beautifully. A bright bouquet added a lively pop of color as they stood before the cathedral-like façade, sat together on the steps, and walked beneath the trees in bloom. It was a fitting ending — elegant, a little theatrical, and still softened by spring.
Long after the petals are gone, this day will linger in the details — the color of the light, the hush of the paths, and the certainty of walking forward together.
