A Tokyo Love Story
Drawn by the romantic charm of Japan's spring season, Louise & Benson traveled to the foothills of Mt. Fuji to celebrate their pre-wedding story. Surrounded by soft cherry blossoms, sacred shrine grounds, and open lakeside horizons, their shoot captured the quiet wonder of springtime in full bloom. It was an effortless day filled with gentle moments, changing light, and shared quiet joy against Japan's most iconic views.
Mt Fuji Shrine
The day began amidst the grounded tranquility of the shrine grounds, where towering cedar trees filtered the soft morning light. Louise wore a black kimono adorned with vibrant floral embroidery and a contrasting obi, while Benson wore a pristine white montage montsuki kimono with striped hakama pants. Carrying a light parasol under blooming white sakura, the couple wandered past grand red torii gates and stone lanterns, sharing quiet glances in the calm forest air.
Soft spring breezes and snow-capped peaks set the rhythm for a quiet, gentle journey.
Chureito Pagoda
Ascending toward the iconic viewpoint, Louise changed into an off-the-shoulder lace white gown while Benson stepped out in a sleek black suit and bowtie. At Chureito Pagoda, framed by delicate spring sakura and the majestic snow-peaked silhouette of Mt. Fuji, they paused on the observation deck. Benson held Louise close as they admired the panoramic horizon, holding a bouquet of soft pink roses that perfectly echoed the surrounding blossoms.
Lake Kawaguchiko
For the final leg, the couple headed down to the open shores of Lake Kawaguchiko as Benson changed into a crisp beige-white suit to match Louise’s flowing gown. Wandering through golden reeds along the water's edge, they laughed freely as the lake wind caught her veil. With Mt. Fuji towering across the tranquil waters under a clear sky, Benson knelt on the rocky shoreline to share a playful moment before holding her close to end the day.
