A Korea Love Story
Cindy & Clement’s spring pre-wedding shoot takes them through three very different sides of Seoul. There is the playful nostalgia of an old amusement park, cherry blossoms filling the city with soft spring color, and a quieter afternoon spent in hanbok among traditional Korean courtyards. Rather than keeping everything polished and posed, their day makes room for movement, laughter, and a little spontaneity — a celebration that feels as much like exploring Seoul together as it does taking wedding photographs.
Yongma Land Amusement Park
Yongma Land set the day off with something a little unexpected. Cindy, in a short white tulle dress, and Clement, in a sharp black tuxedo and bow tie, wandered between weathered rides, colorful carriages, and an old carousel glowing in the spring sun. They hopped into amusement-park cars, leaned across train windows, and turned forgotten corners into places to play. The contrast made everything feel delightfully offbeat: formal wedding looks against a park full of faded color and nostalgia. By the end, the stiffness of posing had disappeared entirely, leaving them ready to carry that same easy energy into the rest of Seoul.
They dressed up for the photographs, then spent the day forgetting about the camera.
Seoul Forest
By Seoul Forest, spring had taken over the frame. Cherry trees arched above Cindy & Clement as they walked along blossom-covered paths, climbed quiet stairways, and crossed sunlit city streets together. Cindy changed into a full-length white wedding gown, its soft layers catching the light as she moved, while Clement stayed classic in black. The mood here was gentler than the amusement park, but never overly posed. Petals, afternoon light, and the occasional passing car kept Seoul present around them, giving the portraits a lovely in-between quality — romantic, but still grounded in an ordinary spring day in the city.
Namsangol Hanok Village
For their final stop, Cindy & Clement traded wedding attire for hanbok and stepped into the slower rhythm of Namsangol Hanok Village. Cindy’s soft pink skirt brought a warm touch of color against stone walls and dark tiled roofs, while Clement’s pale traditional attire kept the palette light and understated. They wandered through courtyards, stood beneath blossoming branches, and paused in wooden doorways where the late-day sun poured through. After the playfulness of Yongma Land and the bustle around Seoul Forest, this chapter felt wonderfully still — a softer ending, shaped by spring light, old architecture, and the simple pleasure of staying close.
Years from now, perhaps it will be the little things they remember best — the rides, the blossoms, and all the laughter in between.
