A Taiwan Love Story
The day began in Dadaocheng, where Amanda and Brandon explored the nostalgic side of Taipei. Dressed in soft neutral tones, Amanda wore a white sundress while Brandon paired a white shirt with beige pants, giving the set a relaxed and effortless look. Wandering through the historic streets, they stopped by a classic vending machine and an old-school ice cream shop that still had a vintage gachapon machine. The playful moments of trying their luck at the machine and sharing Taiwanese desserts and fresh orange juice added a sweet, candid charm to the start of the shoot. A classic bicycle nearby became the perfect prop, adding to the old-town atmosphere of Dadaocheng.
From there, they made their way to Jinguashi. For this look, Amanda changed into a white gown while Brandon wore a black suit, creating a striking contrast against the clear sea views and mountain backdrop. Along the coastal roads, they captured natural moments crossing the street before heading toward the rocky shoreline, where dramatic rock formations gave the photos a slightly rugged, adventurous feel. Brandon later removed his blazer, leaving the vest on for a more relaxed variation of the look.
The next stop brought them to a lush waterfall, where Amanda changed into a stunning red gown paired with a large red bow hair accessory. Surrounded by flowing water, greenery, and textured rock formations, the setting created a beautiful contrast between elegance and nature. The gentle sounds of the waterfall and the movement of the water added a soft, romantic atmosphere to this part of the shoot.
As evening approached, they headed to Jiufen. The narrow alleys glowed with rows of lanterns, casting a warm light across the historic streets. They wandered through the shops, soaking in the lively atmosphere before stopping to share a bowl of dessert together. It was the perfect way to end the day — exploring the lantern-lit streets, laughing together, and enjoying the simple moments that made the shoot so memorable.
