Hannah-Fay and Ethan began their Taiwan pre-wedding shoot with a few indoor studio portraits, keeping the look clean and classic before heading outdoors.
Their first stop was Bopiliao Historic Block, a heritage building known for its red brick corridors and old street charm. Hannah-Fay wore a white off-shoulder gown with a mermaid train that flowed beautifully against the textured walls. The historic setting added depth to the photos, while the street surroundings allowed for more candid, in-the-moment shots that felt natural and effortless.
As evening approached, they made their way to Jiufen. With rows of glowing red lanterns lighting up the narrow streets, the atmosphere shifted into something warmer and more atmospheric. Hannah-Fay changed into a red dress with a neck sash that complemented the lanterns perfectly. Ethan switched from his black suit into a white shirt worn tucked out with black pants, creating a more relaxed contrast for the night scene.
They spent the evening exploring the lively alleys, taking in the views and simply enjoying the experience together under the lantern lights.
