Shelley and Triston started their Taiwan pre-wedding shoot with a traditional qipao experience before heading out to explore Hua Jiang Estate. Surrounded by old shophouses and heritage streets, the setting carried a strong oriental charm. Shelley looked elegant in her qipao, while Triston’s suspenders added a vintage touch that fit the old street vibe perfectly.
They took their time walking through the alleys, soaking in the details of the neighbourhood. Textured walls, wooden doors, and quiet corners created a backdrop that felt classic without feeling staged. The atmosphere was simple, understated, and full of character.
From there, they made their way to Jiufen. Instead of the usual lantern scenes, this part of the shoot focused on the steep stone staircases and layered alleyways that make Jiufen so distinctive. A soft drizzle began to fall, and they brought out a transparent umbrella, which added to the mood rather than interrupting it. The misty air and narrow paths gave the photos a quieter, more intimate feel.
