Taiwan Pre-Wedding Photoshoot Traditional Garden Qi Pao Experience Yangmingshan Vintage Night Market Shoot
A Taiwan Love Story
Amy and Shawn’s pre-wedding shoot in Taiwan was a seamless mix of romance, culture, and cinematic moments.
Their day began with a visit to a charming qipao boutique, where Amy chose a bold emerald green dress and Shawn dressed in a vintage-inspired ensemble. From there, they explored a historic garden, capturing playful, intimate moments among centuries-old architecture.
Next, they headed to the misty hills of Yangmingshan National Park. Amy’s flowing white gown and Shawn’s crisp white outfit paired perfectly with the dreamy haze, creating magical, fairytale-like photos as they twirled, laughed, and soaked in the serene landscapes.
As evening fell, the couple wandered the lively streets of a Night Market in retro-inspired outfits, sampling local snacks, playing vintage games, and enjoying the vibrant energy around them.
Amy and Shawn came seeking a fuss-free pre-wedding shoot—and left with effortless, joyful memories that captured their love and their first discovery of Taiwan in the most beautiful way.
Historic Garden
Surrounded by traditional architecture and tranquil gardens, Amy and Shawn embraced a more timeless side of their love story. Her intricately patterned qipao and his tailored suit complemented the heritage setting, bringing a touch of old-world elegance to their photographs. Between quiet embraces, stolen glances and playful moments with a traditional fan, their personalities shone through. The historic surroundings lent a sense of nostalgia to the experience, while their natural chemistry made every moment feel distinctly their own.
Yang Ming Shan
With mist drifting across the hills and the landscape fading into soft shades of green, Yang Ming Shan offered Amy and Shawn a completely different kind of romance. Away from the bustle of the city, they had the freedom to slow down, enjoy the cool mountain air and lose themselves in the moment. Their elegant wedding attire brought a sense of occasion to the misty scenery, while a later change into casual outfits revealed their playful side. From running through the grass to laughing together beneath the open sky, these were the moments that felt less like a photoshoot and more like a little adventure for two.
The best adventures are the ones where we can be completely ourselves.
Night Market
As the city lit up for the evening, Amy and Shawn traded the quiet mountains for the colourful energy of a Taiwanese night market. With glowing signs, busy stalls and tempting street food at every turn, the evening became an opportunity to enjoy the simple pleasures of exploring somewhere together. They wandered through the lively streets, shared snacks, browsed market stalls and laughed their way through the evening. Her short white dress and his relaxed outfit suited the carefree atmosphere, making the photographs feel wonderfully spontaneous. Between the bright lights and little everyday discoveries, they found that romance doesn't always need an elaborate setting. Sometimes, it's simply about having your favourite person beside you.
I'd choose a thousand ordinary evenings with you over one extraordinary night without you."
