Ruth and Munwei’s pre-wedding journey in Yunnan was truly unforgettable — a seamless blend of adventure, culture and breathtaking landscapes. Just a four-hour flight from Singapore, Lijiang welcomed them with cool mountain air, dramatic scenery and a unique mix of nature and ancient charm.
Their day began at Dragon Jade Mountain Base, where a rugged jeep sat against towering snow-capped peaks. Dressed in sleek black outfits, they embraced a bold, chic look that contrasted beautifully with the raw mountain backdrop, setting an effortlessly cool tone for the adventure ahead.
From there, the mood softened in an open grass field surrounded by golden mountains. Ruth changed into an elegant A-line gown with a stunning back detail, while Munwei suited up to match the grandeur of the landscape. Bathed in warm sunlight, this segment felt timeless and serene — filled with quiet moments and gentle laughter.
One of the most memorable stops was the Tribal Mountain Base, where the couple embraced a vibrant, tribal-inspired look with Douyin-style makeup and striking accessories. Farm animals, including cuddly lambs and a majestic black horse, brought the setting to life, while wildflowers, prayer flags and sweeping mountain views added warmth and color to every frame.
The day concluded in the enchanting Ancient Town. Dressed in striking red Hanfu, Ruth and Munwei stepped into a world of tradition, surrounded by grand architecture, stone pathways and glowing lanterns. The atmosphere felt cinematic, romantic and deeply rooted in culture.
From start to finish, the shoot flowed effortlessly — more than a pre-wedding session, it became a meaningful journey filled with unforgettable memories.
