Wedding photoshoots are probably the only occasions that most of us get to dress up and take photos against dramatic backgrounds without shame. That’s why our fun-loving couple from the UK, Melissa and Andrew, took this chance to do just that. Where else to do this than at Budapest, home to grandiose architecture and landmark buildings rich in history. Our photographers have an incredible passion for photography and (they) go out of their way to make you feel relaxed so you can enjoy the experience. The resulting effect was not only Hollywood-movie-style dramatic but oh-so-romantic too! Together with our photographers Roky and Teo who have, as our couple shared, “an incredible passion for photography and (they) go out of their way to make you feel relaxed so you can enjoy the experience”, our couple came out of the photoshoot not only with beautiful photos but also with a lot of memories from their enjoyable time throughout the spontaneous photoshoot. The first stop of their photoshoot was at the breathtaking Danube waterfront. The shoot here was a combination of wonderful lighting, a great background and a lot of our couple’s pure, uninhibited displays of love for each other. The result? Photos showing the couple’s genuine love for each other! Our couple then proceeded on to Café Gerbeaud, one of the greatest and most traditional coffeehouses in Europe. With the high ceilings and grand chandeliers of the Café, the photos came out looking wonderfully luxurious! Tucked away in the corner of the more famous landscapes there is the Garden of Philosophy, a welcome breath of fresh air away from the concrete jungle. With the mesmerising view of the Danube River in the background, the photo looks nothing short of a scene from a painting come to life. The couple then headed to the Citadel, the jewel of their dramatic photoshoot. The architectural splendour of the Citadel, coupled with the charming cityscape of Budapest, contributed to the grandiose of the photos that surrounded our beautiful couple. Not to mention with the great lighting atop the Citadel, our beautiful bride Melissa looked nothing short of an angel in her full white gown and her glowing face! It was an eclectic mix (of activities) but it worked -- all good fun! Our couple also stopped to take some pictures along the rustic alleyways of the Castle Hill. Fully utilising their surroundings, our photographers even threw out the suggestion to make use of the couple’s reflections for a photo to a mesmerising result. Roky and Teo are really good at getting that intimate close-up of a couple Taking unplanned pit stops at a little corner coffeeshop filled with antiques and atop Castle Hill to enjoy a cone of ice cream, our couple enjoyed another round of photoshoots as suggested by our photographers. Melissa and Andrew shares that it was an “eclectic mix (of activities) but it worked -- all good fun!” Our couple ended their shoot at the Chain Bridge that spans the Danube River. The beautiful riverfront view and night lights that illuminated the Bridge gave an oh-so-romantic touch to the photos! For couples looking achieve those really dramatic and romantic pre-wedding pictures in Budapest all whilst having fun throughout the shoot, be sure to check out Teo and Roky, who our couple describe as "friendly, full of life and having a great sense of humour" and our great Budapest wedding photographers. Our couple also shares that they're "really good at getting that intimate close-up of a couple" so be sure to take advantage of that!
