A Kyoto, Osaka & Nara Love Story
Captivated by the soft magic of spring in Japan, Kevin & Hui Xin embarked on a scenic pre-wedding journey through Kyoto and Nara. Dressed in handcrafted creations from Singapore bridal studio Bridefully Yours, their day flowed from the vermilion shrine corridors of Fushimi Inari into the tranquil waters of Nara, where they rowed beneath delicate cherry blossoms, before concluding high above the valley as sunset softened over Mt. Wakakusa open pastures.
Fushimi Inari
The morning opened along the historic pathways of Fushimi Inari, framed by classic wooden architecture and early spring cherry blossoms. Wearing vivid traditional garments—Hui Xin in a bright magenta kimono detailed with intricate floral motifs and holding a paper parasol, and Kevin in a rich royal blue montsuki haori—the couple stepped along stone paths and under bright orange torii gates. Their joyful laughter echoed through the quiet shrine grounds, establishing a vibrant, culturally rich beginning to their day.

Nara Deer Park
Transitioning to Nara Deer Park, Hui Xin changed into a romantic strapless tulle gown from Bridefully Yours, while Kevin wore a light shirt and beige trousers. Boarding a small green rowboat, Kevin navigated the calm waters while low-hanging cherry branches brushed softly overhead. Surrounding deer watched from the grassy banks as the two shared laughter floating over the pond. Later, walking along the shoreline boardwalks, they paused for tender hugs under full-bloom canopies, capturing a deeply romantic and adventurous spirit.
Mt. Wakakusa
For the final chapter, they ascended the sweeping slopes of Mt. Wakakusa as twilight settled over the region. Hui Xin changed into a soft blush gown with a long sheer veil that danced in the summit wind, while Kevin donned a sharp dark suit. Friendly local deer gathered on the high grassy ridge, interacting playfully with the couple as the horizon turned shades of gold and soft blue. Standing together above the expansive city backdrop, their story closed on an elevated, unforgettable note.
As twilight touched the mountain crest, every shared look held the quiet magic of spring.
