Jose Feter Ang and Bella Wu set off on a pre-wedding story through Kyoto and its neighboring quiet spaces. Starting amid the vibrant torii gates of Fushimi Inari in traditional kimono, they later moved into the historic streets of Gion, walking under shared umbrellas as soft rains fell. Crossing into the open grassy hills of Nara, they shared gentle moments among roaming deer, letting the unhurried atmosphere of ancient Japan shape every memory.
Fushimi Inari Taisha
The day began surrounded by the iconic vermilion gates of Fushimi Inari Taisha. Dressed in ornate traditional attire—she in a patterned kimono and he in a classic dark hakama—Jose Feter Ang and Bella Wu eased into the quiet rhythm of the shrine grounds. They walked together beneath the closely set wooden arches, where soft sunlight filtered through the orange frame and lit up the vibrant fabric of her outfit. Stopping along stone staircases and quiet courtyard nooks, the peaceful morning atmosphere gave them space to connect naturally, taking in the serene sanctuary setting together.

Gion District & Historic Streets
A smooth transition into Western bridal wear brought them to the preserved wooden storefronts and cobblestone alleys of Gion. With a subtle drizzle setting in, they picked up a clear umbrella, walking closely past historic stone walls and traditional tea houses. Wearing a fluid white wedding gown with a soft train, she held onto his arm as they explored the stone-paved streets with the historic pagoda rising silently in the background. The quiet rain added an intimate texture to their walk, encouraging unhurried pauses beneath quiet eaves and gentle laughter along the iconic stone paths.
Nara Park & Surrounding Hills
Heading into the expansive, green hill country of Nara Park, the mood opened up into sweeping natural views. A soft long veil caught the gentle breeze as Jose Feter Ang and Bella Wu strolled across grassy slopes, where friendly local deer wandered directly up to meet them. Standing against distant mountain ridges, they paused on the hilltop, sharing quiet embraces as the light spread across the valley.
