At the Lijiang Restaurant in Jurong, we aim to provide our guests with exceptional quality Chinese cuisine every time they walk through our doors. In homage to our founder’s “Old Hokkien” roots, we have also retained many traditional Hokkien dishes to satisfy the “Hokkien” in many of us. Whether it’s for a Sunday brunch, a birthday banquet, or just an simple office lunch with colleagues, our affordable prices, delicious food and friendly service staff are always a winning combination. Now located at Jurong Town Hall Road, inside the Omni-Theatre Building (next to KidsSTOP and the Singapore Science Centre), we welcome you to pay us a visit and let us host you to an enjoyable meal.
Unpretentious and good quality Chinese cuisines are the hallmarks of a Yunnan Restaurant. Founded in the 1970s within the Nanyang University and named after the Yunnan Garden located in the university. The Yunnan Group of Restaurant has been lovingly embraced by diners since.
Aptly named Li Jiang, the picturesque and peaceful prefecture in the Yunnan province in China, the Lijiang Restaurant first opened in the Singapore Swimming Club in 2003. Upon the end of lease, the restaurant subsequently moved to Temasek Club at Portsdown Road and operated from that premise for 5 years.
In 2014, we are pleased to be invited by the management of Singapore Science Center in Jurong to operate their F&B outlet for their newly opened KidsSTOP and now call it our home.
In addition to our restaurant, we are also able to provide The Marquee from the Science Centre to host functions. Able to accommodate up to 40 banquet tables, catering to 400+ people, this air-conditioned Marquee is ideal for corporate functions, birthday banquets and wedding functions.
